Licence
- Each competitor has a starting total of 13 racing points.
- Demerit Points will be allocated against individual drivers based on the penalty received.
- These points will remain in play against your licence for 12 months from the date of the race where the penalty was given.
- If you reach or exceed the 13 points a full race ban will be enforced (this cannot be used as a drop round).
- When your race ban has been served, 4 points will be removed.
- All others will remain until the expiration date.
Sprint Stuff
Sprint rounds comprise of 1 Qualifying & 2 x 30 min Races. Points calculation is as follows:
- Race 1 – Full Points
- Race 2 – Full Points
Total points are added together then ranked for the whole field and final points are awarded based on that rank.
If there is a points tie, the higher points will be allocated to the driver with the highest finish in the First race.
Enduro Stuff
Enduro round is usually 2 hrs with at least 2 mandatory pitstops and driver swap (either 2 or 3 drivers per team)
Options for this round will often change per season.
Some of these options are;
- Time – usually 2 hrs
- Driver swap
- Min 2 pitstops
- Weather
- Driver class (ie. Pro vs Pro/AM)
- Tyre quantity limits
- Points awarded may be altered to suit the race
Team Points
- Every driver on a Team has the chance to accrue Team Points (TP) but only the Top 4 will be used.
- Each Team will consist of 2 groups, Pro and ProAM and points will only be applied as follows.
- Top 2 Pro finishers
- Top 2 ProAM finishers
- In the event of a Team only having 1 Pro driver available for that race then Team points will be applied as follows.
- Top 1 Pro finishers
- Top 3 ProAM finishers
- The drivers’ points table will be used to calculate Team rank (per class), and Team points will be allocated based on that rank.
EXAMPLE:
If 2 Pro finish 1st & 2nd, then the next Pro driver to cross the line in 5th place, then he will be considered 3rd in the Pro class and will receive the 3rd place points (35)
Team points will then be allocated in order of rank as per this table.
Position | 1st | 2nd | 3rd | 4th | 5th |
---|---|---|---|---|---|
Points | 5 | 4 | 3 | 2 | 1 |
Driver's Points
- The Season winner is decided by the total championship points accumulated.
- In the event of a tie, the tiebreaker is the count of the highest placements in individual races, such as the number of wins, second places, and so on.
- Full points are awarded according to the points tables for Pro, ProAM, and AM categories upon completion.
- Categories will be separated when allocating points.
- Drop round:
- All rounds will be eligible for a Drop Round except for the last Round.
- If you receive full race ban, then this cannot be used as a drop Round.
